Importing Custom Holder from a Level

 

To open the Level Manager; select Level from the bottom ribbon bar.

 

Select Level from ribbon bar

 

Create a new level and name it ‘Custom Holder.’ Set this level to be the main level as the tool will be drawn at this level.

 

Name it custom holder

 

Draw the custom holder vertically with the tip of the holder on X0,Y0. Draw only half of the holder, as the profile will revolve to create a complete holder. The holder must be drawn as a continuous chain, meaning there can be no overlaps or duplicate entities.

Create your toolpath that you would like to use the Custom tool holder in.

 

Select the Holder tab

 

New holder

 

 New Holder

 

Import Custom Geometry from a level  import custom geometry from a level

 

 Import Custom geometry from level

 

Select Custom Level > Ok  OK button

 

 Custom Holder number name and entities

 

Set the Connection settings as required  > Next  Next Button

Set the General settings as required > Finish  Finish Button
