Mastercam X7 Multiaxis Course

The Mastercam X7 Multiaxis Training Course is designed for experienced Mastercam Mill users wishing to learn in-depth multiaxis programming.

Overview

The training course covers the different applications that are available by configuring the Rotary Axis Control page such as: Rotary axis positioning, 3 axis and Axis substitution. The training course will also cover the Multiaxis Classic family toolpaths: Rotary, Curve, Swarf, Flow, Msurf, Port and Drill/Circle Mill. Specific parameters such Cut patterns, Tool Axis Control, Limits, Collision Control, Linking and more will be described in detail.

The more advanced toolpaths from the Custom Applications, Wireframe and Surface/Solids families, with their extra options for tool axis orientations and collision control, will also be included. Additionally, the training course describes how to verify the toolpaths using the new machine simulation module that combines both toolpath backplot mode and material removal mode with collision detections.
