Are you looking to kick-start your sales career with a trusted and valued Canadian-owned software company?
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Business Development team who will identify and qualify potential customers through social selling, contacting current customers, cold calling and research
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin the sales process
- Perform cold-call tasks as required to prospects
- Create and deliver qualified opportunities to Account Managers and ensure follow-up with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, sources, etc.
- Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects
- Utilize CRM (Salesforce) to organize and manage prospect accounts
- Provide service to our existing educational customers in Quebec along with coordinating annual maintenance agreement renewals.
Education & Skills
The successful individual will thrive in a fast-paced, flexible, and high-tech environment while maintaining a positive attitude. You will also possess the following:
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of related business development experience would be ideal but will consider a new grad
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and good working knowledge of CRM (Salesforce experience would be a definite asset)
- Ability to quickly learn the key features of our products as targeted sales focus shifts quarterly
- Previous experience in software sales, B2B marketing and/or B2B sales environment or within the manufacturing industry would be definite assets
