Absolute Scanner AS1

RS5 VS. AS1 SCANNER

The RS5 Laser Scanner and the Absolute Scanner AS1 are removable 3D scanners designed for use with the Absolute Arm 7-Axis. Both scanners deliver high-speed 3D scanning for surfaces and features on a wide range of finishes and materials, but the future of 3D scanning is seen with the AS1.

SMALL-SCALE PRECISION

It is now easier and safer to access hard-to-reach areas with the touch probe functionality. This means the AS1 has a Complete Scanning System Accuracy to within just 43 microns with an Absolute Arm measurement.

HIGH SPEED MEASUREMENT

With no need to reduce laser line width or point spacing, it is capable of digitizing large surfaces quickly with data collected at 300 lines per second. No matter what material or finish is on the object you are scanning, it is performed without any degradation on any surface.

VISUAL GUIDANCE

A laser-projected range finder guides the users to measure more accurately and efficiently on the first try. This is very beneficial since this helps ensure the scanner is positioned correctly relative to the part being measured.
