What’s new in Mastercam 2018

Mastercam Highlights:

Mastercam 2018 What’s New:

  • Parameter for adjusting feed rates on arc moves in 2D Contour and Slot Mill toolpaths and 3D Waterline toolpaths.
  • Improvements to the Sweep function in Solid modeling giving you more flexibility and greater control.
  • Modify at intersection edits your wireframe geometry where ever it intersects with a solid face or body, a surface, or a solid sheet body.
  • Easily undo and redo up to 25 Model Prep functions using the new Undo and Redo controls located in the Solids Manager.
  • The new Edit Spline function makes it easy to refine and prepare splines for any application.
  • Toggling the CPlane 2D/3D construction mode, enables different construction modes for Curve One Edge and Curve All Edges. Setting the construction mode to 2D creates geometry parallel to the current CPlane at a designated Z depth.
  • Milling advances offer more efficient toolpaths and deeper control over vital aspects of tool motion.
  • Expanded turning and Mill-Turn improve dynamic cutting, add powerful control options and offer exclusive access to new turning tool programming.
