Mastercam 2018 introduced Accelerated Finishing with support for standard Barrel or Oval Form tools. In Mastercam 2019, support has been expanded to include Taper and Lens Form tools giving you more options when machining sloped wall or floor surfaces. These tool types offer improved surface finish, longer tool life, and reduced cycle times when compared to conventional methods using a standard ball nose cutter.
