Toolpath support for Sandvik Coromant PrimeTurning™ method, introduced in Mastercam 2018 as a C-Hook add-on, is now fully integrated into Mastercam Lathe and Mill-Turn. The CoroTurn® Prime tool libraries for PrimeTurning now include .4 mm nose radius inserts and additional 3D tool libraries are available, providing a more realistic representation of the tools in backplot, verify, and simulation.
Mastercam 2019 also supports the new line of ID PrimeTurning tools and adapters. These new tools are geared toward high material removal for ID work and follow the familiar workflow implemented in the release of Mastercam 2018.
