CNC Software has released the latest version of the Mastercam for SolidWorks product for current maintenance customers to download.
Mastercam X7 for SolidWorks features new products and new functionality focused on delivering speed and efficiency for your machining jobs. Many of the enhancements seen in Mastercam X7 Mill have been brought over to Mastercam for SolidWorks such as the new Mastercam Simulator, new Tool Manager and stock model improvements including multi-core processing for all toolpaths.
Arguably the biggest addition, however, is the addition of many Mastercam Lathe toolpaths including standard rough & canned rough, finish & canned finish, groove & canned groove, thread, plunge/turn, drill/tap and more.
